Her name was Noisy—and she was my heart dog.
Intense, clever, and 110% committed to everything she did—training, cuddles, protecting her people—she stuck to me like glue. A true velcro dog with a soul-deep connection.
Noisy taught me everything I know about reactivity, fear, and what it takes to build a bond that can weather anything. She learned to trust me to lead her, and she rewarded me for that every day.
She could read my emotions like a book. She knew when I was struggling, physically or emotionally, and always showed up for me in her own sometimes quiet, but always loyal way.
Even when cancer crushed her windpipe and oesophagus, she never gave up—her drive to keep going was just who she was.
I became a trainer because of her.
And now I help others build that same kind of connection—especially with dogs who feel too much, react too quickly, or never quite seem to settle.
Because when you learn how to meet your dog where they are, everything changes.
